Kaylene's going south

Who would have thought that 10 years on I would still be such good friends with the old school gang.

Farewell to Kaylene, enjoy your new adventure. Melbourne's shopping establishments won't know whats hit them! Can't wait to come down with the rest of the girls for Kayle's bargain shopping tour of Melbourne.

Wollongong Weddings

We are finally at the end of wedding season. Thats 5 weddings in 3 months.

Wollongong Wedding #1: Ian and Erika

The skirts were lovely - and the girls looked great too! The groomsmen wore kilts and we were welcomed into the church by bagpipes. Erika wore one of the longest trains I have ever seen (in real life anyway). I guess when else can a girl indulge like that than on her wedding day.

What a small world it is too - my brothers best mate was there - turns out he went to uni with Erika.

Wollongong Wedding #2 - Rossi and Shelly

Rossi and Shelly were married the week after in the Stonequarry gardens in Picton. A beautiful location for a wedding. Rossi wore a tan suit (he had to be different) with the maffia boys in black as groomsmen. The bridesmaids wore light lime green and Shelly looked amazing.

We had a great night at the reception. Great food, dancing and the usual wollongong boys antics.

Sue's HiphipHup, Pubputtputt Day

Sue turned 27 last tuesday and what better way to celebrate than a couple of rounds of putt putt golf.

After a few drinks and dinner at the local West Ryde Hotel, we headed (in golfing atire) down the road to West Ryde Putt Putt. The rain kept off for two rounds, first on the fun run then the water course.

Andrew managed to take the prize for our little group, even with the "creative scoring"/"practice shots" of some of the rest of us!

In the tradition of the Putt Putt birthday the staff even obliged in changing the sign for us and taking the group photo. Happy Birthday Sue!

Crikey! We sure did have an Awesome time at Australia Zoo.

Brent and I headed up to Brisbane last weekend to catch up with Brents sister and brother and get away from Sydney for a long weekend.

Saturday was spent wandering round Southbank markets and getting to know Kellys new Border Collie puppy, Medusa who was rescued that morning.

Jaime and Kelly have a menagerie of animals, with 2 dogs (the other ones a rottweiler), 2 cats, 3 birds, a yabbie, and numourous fish (yabbie food) wandering their gorgeous 2 story house. I was well entertained by the antics of the 4 legged animals as they got to know the new puppy.

On Sunday we headed out to the Glasshouse Mountains to Steve Irwins Australia Zoo. This place is amazing! Steve puts every dollar he makes from it back into the zoo and you can tell. We started the day with shows in the Crocoseum. We saw tigers, snakes, free flying birds and of course the famous crocodile show.

The highlight of the day though had to be the tiger enclosure, where a glass wall is all there is between you and the frolicking tigers. The keepers play with the cats, throwing their toys into the water so they will leap in after them - Crikey - it was awesome!!

Thanks Jaime and Kelly for a great weekend.
